πͺͺ Members must show the I.D. Card while entering the Library & Information Centre.
π Members must produce the Identity Card at the time of borrowing books; otherwise, library staff may refuse to issue books.
π« Reference books, Rare books, Reserve books, Journals, Magazines (loose & bound), Dissertations, CDs and DVDs are not lent out.
π Library books are not transferable.
β οΈ Punishment and fine will be imposed in case of mutilation or theft of library material(s).
π° Late return penalty per day per book:
- Rs. 1/- for first 30 days
- Rs. 2/- from 31st day to 60th day
- Rs. 5/- if not returned on or before the due date
β³ Returned books will not be renewed to the same person on the same day of return. However, they can be re-issued immediately if nobody is in the queue (βQβ) for the same book.
β Issued books will not be accepted on the same day return.
π Librarian reserves the right to recall any issued books from any member at any time, even before the due date.
π Do not take any book out of the reference section without permission of the librarian.
ποΈ Members should not re-shelve books/periodicals/materials; leave them on the table. βA book misplaced is a book lost.β
π« Librarian reserves the right to suspend the membership of any member found misbehaving in the Library & Information Centre.
π΅ All visitors are advised to switch off mobile phones inside the Library & Information Centre.
π A member can reserve a book on loan by entering details in the prescribed register available at the circulation counter.
π Dissertations must be consulted within Library premises only; dissertations cannot be Xeroxed.
